Cook penne rigate according to package directions.
Saute bacon 2-3 minutes. Add onion and sautÃ© until tender. Add vodka; cook 1 minute or until most of the vodka has reduced. Stir pasta sauce and cream; simmer 4-5 minutes.
Toss penne rigate with sauce and serve topped with parsley.

- Slices bacon, finely chopped 4-5
- Finely chopped onion 1
- Vodka or chicken broth 1/3 cup (75 mL)
- Whipping cream 1/3 cup (75 mL)
- Chopped fresh parsley 1/4 cup (50 mL)
