Cooking Steps


Step 1

Cook spaghetti according to package directions.

Step 2

Heat oil in a skillet set over medium heat; sauté onion, pepper and zucchini until tender. Stir in pasta sauce and parsley; heat through.

Step 3

Toss hot spaghetti with sauce and sprinkle with cheese, if desired.

  • 1 pkg (375 g) HEALTHY HARVEST WHOLE WHEAT SPAGHETTI
  • olive oil 2 tbsp (30 mL)
  • finely chopped onion 1
  • red or yellow pepper, cut into thin strips 1
  • small zucchini, thinly sliced 1
  • Pasta Sauce (or 1 jar) 3 cups(750 mL)
  • chopped fresh parsley or basil  2 tbsp (30 mL)
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
