|12 CATELLI® LASAGNE NOODLES|
(700 mL each)
|1||each: onion and garlic clove, chopped|
|extra lean ground beef or pork|
|chopped fresh parsley|
|light Ricotta or Cottage cheese|
|shredded part-skim Mozzarella cheese|
|frozen chopped spinach, thawed and well drained
Cook lasagne noodles according to package directions.
Heat oil in a large pot set over medium heat; sauté onion and garlic until tender. Add beef; cook until browned. Drain off fat. Stir in pasta sauce and parsley; simmer for 5 minutes.
Combine Ricotta cheese with spinach and egg.
Spread ¼ sauce in 3 L (13 in. x 9 in.) baking dish. Top with 3 noodles, another ¼ sauce and 3 more noodles. Then spread cheese mixture over noodles. Top with 3 more noodles and ¼ sauce; cover with remaining 3 noodles and sauce. Sprinkle with Mozzarella cheese.
Cover and bake in preheated 180°C (350°F) oven for 40-45 minutes. Let stand for 15 minutes before serving.
